Here are some characteristics of thermal insulation materials used for internal finishing work.
1. Basalt thermal insulation. It is made from the rock of the basalt group in the form of plates. Basalt slabs consist of thin, flexible fibers. The advantage of such thermal insulation consists in high fire resistance, significant biological stability, mechanical density. A large selection of basalt insulation solves the problem of sound – and thermal insulation of the outer walls and partitions in the house. Serve for about 25 years.
2. Fiberglass. It is made from quartz sand. It does not burn and absorbs the noise well and holds heat. In appearance, randomly woven thin glass fibers form air ribbons. This heater is hygroscopic, without corrosion agents, has chemical resistance. Fiberglass is resistant to the formation of bacteria, mold, does not rot. This is a chemically neutral material without harmful substances. Serves about 50 years. Heat insulators and fiberglass are sold in rolls or plates. They have a loose structure of the thinnest glass fibers. These fibers are elastic, do not break, do not break, bend well and restore the shape. A fiberglass layer, 5 cm thick is equated by its thermal qualities with a 40 cm brick wall. This heat -insulating material is used for partitions and ceilings.
3. Ecowata. Consists of secondary pulp and chemical additives. Apply it to decorate the internal and outer walls, the upper and lower ceilings of the house. The insulation made of ecowine is not toxic, does not rot, it burns poorly. Serves 70 years. 15 cm of the layer of ecowan is equal in thermal conductivity: 50 cm of wood from wood; 46 cm foam concrete; 90 cm expanded clay; 1.46 m brick walls. And the masonry of one and a half brick is 5 cm of a layer of ecowan. When laying the ecovites, a seamless layer is obtained. Ecumous is not allowed to get wet. Thermal insulation properties worsen. Do not forget to warm the slopes near the windows, since after laying the heat insulator indoors, the wall will be colder. Condensation may appear.
4. Thin “liquid thermal insulation”. Produced in the form of paint. Applied to the insulated surface with a roller or brush, you can spray. At 1.5 square meters. m. 1 liter of liquid is consumed. Serves thermal insulation for 15 years. Super -thin thermal insulation has high heat -insulating and waterproofing properties. She does not freeze, does not collect condensate. It has antifungal properties. Does not distinguish harmful substances. After drying liquid thermal insulation, a thin, elastic, solid layer forms. It can be carried out on it plastered and decorative finishing work, and paint with acrylic paint.
