Classification of mineral wool: features and advantages

The production of building materials in our country has a very, very wide range. The market is filled with all kinds of materials. If we talk about technical isolation, then it is used both in private and in industrial construction. The category of such products includes heat -insulating cylinders, as well as rolls and mineral wool slabs. In the manufacture of this technical cotton wool, the rocks of the basalt are used. The construction of modern, both civilian and industrial facilities, cannot do without the use of technical isolation. It has become an integral component of modern construction work. Technical isolation not only performs the function of maintaining temperature, but also the function of fire protection.

Mineral wool on the market is represented by products of various manufacturers. The proposed assortment is simply amazing. The products differ mainly in price and size. Although the quality of this material may also vary. Mineral wool can be made with a coating (which is considered additional) from foil. But more often mats do without any coating. The firmware mats M1 100 are also different from the usual, which are very often in demand due to their strength. In addition, they are now producing dense and solid mineral wool. Its properties are unique in that it does not lose its original form with mechanical effects, since it does not compress during operation.

Each variety of heat -insulating mats has its own positive features and advantages. Each of these varieties is considered the best solution in a particular area of application. If, for example, to mount some complex designs in production, then one variety of mineral wool is used here, if it is necessary to isolate the heating main pipes, the other, if you wrap the ventilation channels, the third, if the roof is insulated, is the fourth, and so on. But, as for specifically, the case when the thermal insulation of the roof is carried out, then even if the material is very high quality, it will not operate effectively, if the roof vapor barrier is not correctly made, because the cotton wool that has absorbed moisture does not work as thermal insulation. This important point must be remembered. For successful thermal insulation, steam must be cut off from the insulation. And, of course, on top of cotton wool should be protected by waterproofing.
